TRIBU PAGHIDAET, the Dinagyang Tribe nurtured by La Paz National High School, first joined the Iloilo Dinagyang Ati Tribe Competition in 1999. The name TRIBU PAGHIDAET is still adopted because Lapazenians believe that Our lady of Peace and Good Voyage, the district’s Patroness, peacefully and brightly beacons all Ilonggos to Her son Jesus, whose childhood, we venerate and honor as Senor Sto. Nino, especially during this Dinagyang Festivity.

In the eighteen (18) years of tribe participation, Tribu Paghidaet has bagged runner- up positions and six championship awards. ( The tribe did not participate in the years, 2005, 2006 and 2013.) The tribe has always been blessed with dedicated school heads and skilled choreographers and artistic team, hardworking teachers, and committed PTA; hence , it’s excellent performance in this world renowned festivity. Tribu Paghidaet bagged the People’s Choice award, Best in Disciplinee, Best in Music, Best Muscial Director, Best Production design, Best Production Designer, Best Choreography, Best Choreographer , Best Performance and Grand Champion – Dinagyang 360 in Dinagyang Festival 2020.
